Hope holds over 80 incredible chainsaw carvings through the town, all carved by participants of the bi-annual Hope Chainsaw Carving competition.
August 14 to 17, 2025 Hope will once again be hosting their chainsaw carving competition this August in Hope’s Memorial Park, you’ll be able to get your front row seat to world class carvers and the amazing creations that they will carve!
If you’ve been to Hope before, you’ll have undoubtedly seen some of the 80 plus chainsaw carvings scattered all over town. Each of these carvings are pieces that chainsaw carvers have created during past competitions! During your visit, stop by the Hope Visitor Centre to start the self-guided tour of chainsaw carvings around town and imagine where this year’s carvings may end up!
